Campers can fly across the water if the wind is right. Experienced windsurfers must be capable of teaching the fundamentals as well as advanced instruction in a variety of conditions. Skills include rigging, uphauling, getting underway, tacking, jibing, and sailing upwind. Experience driving a small outboard boat is preferred.
As a Windsurfing Instructor you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being, and overall enjoyment of campers during their time at Adirondack Camp. You will be tasked with teaching our campers windsurfing techniques, and taking them out on the water. You will also be responsible for promoting camper safety, fostering a positive culture, and helping to make lasting memories for all.
Certifications may be earned during staff training.
