Working as a summer camp counselor at Adirondack Camp, you will lead Water Skills classes for energetic boys and girls ages 6-17. You will be working in one of five beautiful swimming areas on Lake George.
As a member of the Water Skills Staff you will teach all levels of swimmers based on the Red Cross progressive swim program. You will also be a Lifeguard during recreational swimming. Snorkeling is another fun thing for kids to enjoy on the lake so snorkeling experience is desirable, but not a requirement.
As a Water Skills Instructor & Lifeguard you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being, and overall enjoyment of campers during their time at Adirondack Camp. You will be responsible for promoting camper safety, fostering a positive culture, and helping to make lasting memories for all.
