Share your love of the sport with beginning and experienced fishermen; must be competent in basic rigging, rod maintenance, casting, and cleaning fish. If a camper hauls in a keeper, our chef helps prepare it! Use of live bait and artificial lures. Fly-fishing experience is a plus. A highlight every session is organizing “The Search for Herbie”, our pre-breakfast fishing rodeo.
As a Fishing Instructor you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being, and overall enjoyment of campers during their time at Adirondack Camp. You will be tasked with teaching our campers different fishing techniques. You will also be responsible for promoting camper safety, fostering a positive culture, and helping to make lasting memories for all.
Certifications may be earned during staff training.
