Video Arts is a small but intense program for campers who want to get behind the lens of a digital or video camera. Electronic Arts projects culminate in a screening at the end of each week, a highly anticipated event that lets campers show off their work to their friends. Skill areas include teaching ability in the following areas: leading campers in brainstorming, storyboarding, casting, costuming, shooting, and editing. Must be proficient using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. Experience with other Adobe CC programs not required but preferable.

Job Description

As an Electronic Arts Instructor you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being, and overall enjoyment of campers during their time at Adirondack Camp. You will be in charge of teaching our campers a variety of skills in several areas of video production. You will also be responsible for promoting camper safety, fostering a positive culture, and helping to make lasting memories for all.

Qualifications

  • You will be supervising children ages 7-16, engaging them in a variety of fun activities, program specific games, and more.
  • It’s your job to create a friendly, positive camp environment, encouraging camper participation and teamwork.
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating the values of Adirondack in interactions with campers and fellow staff members.
  • Assist in planning and organizing daily camp activities and special events.
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Ensure the well-being of campers by following established safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized camp, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of facilities and equipment.

Certifications

Certification courses are offered pre-season to staff.

  • CPR Certified preferred
